Another Aussie welcome love your post on the spoonfeed thread most of us here are allway willing to help find ways to spend your hard earned on the beast and how the grin going have you had ride yet where you did not come with out a grin, also if you think the bike is powerfully now wait till you wake up a few more ponies as your confidence grows:D

I have never felt so strongly about a machine in my life. It's staggering how I could go from not knowing this bike existed, to thinking it was mildly unattractive (how COULD I?!) and then reading some reviews and seeing it in person and realizing it's the single most excellent and beautiful machine ever made by the hand of mortals. There are tons of great bikes out there, but NOTHING that has inspired the kind of sustained obsession in me (pre and post purchase) that the Rocket has. So no, in answer to your question, I have never ridden the bike and climbed off without a grin on my face. It's a hell of a thing, and I am in love.

Welcome from Colorado fellow New Yorker. Yup I'm one of those who left, transplanted in CO now. About the only thing I miss is the food, you can have the rest. :D
There's no looking back now that you have a R3. Amazing how the rest can't compare. I wouldn't dream of getting rid mine now. I'm addicted to the horsepower, and there's plenty to be had. By the way lots of good info on this site so don't hesitate to ask if you can't find...
