You aren't the first. Happened to me 25 yrs ago just two years after she talked me into selling my chopper. Bought a new bike as soon as child support was over.

Being that close to Carpenter, that would be the go to. But if you click on forums at the top of the page, then the touring forum, the top post is the R3T derestricting thread, changes the bike COMPLETELY for a $20 cord.
