Hi all,
Looking to purchase my first Triumph, Most likely the Rocket GT. I was gobsmacked the amount of low range torque these bikes have. Was a bit concerned about reliability after many Years of Japanese bikes it's time for a change.

Welcome. The Rocket 3 is a "must have" bike in my opinion...

Gidday mate, welcome to the forum. If you can find one with a Penner tune already installed, definitely go that way, else install one on the bike you get, absolutely worth it.

Greetings from sunny North Texas. You'll probably want to derestrict the beast in Sport Mode. Factory settings have limited the throttle in all modes (good for Rain and Road), but you'll want to unleash the beast in Sport. As to reliability there are Rockets out there with over a quarter million miles on them. She's a beast.
