New exhausts query

The Rocket is a very smooth riding motor.
I would suggest your fatigue be from the position of your arms, wrists and hands on the bars.
If you actually find the stock exhaust note too loud, look into molded ear plugs.

Maybe look into some Isogrips if the vibration through the bars is the problem .. they do help. If it's really vibrating excessively i'd be taking it to a specialist to have it checked out. As far as noise goes they reckon the ear-plugs that drummers use are the best you can get. Musical store should be able to help you out.

ok will look into isogrips. can the fit over heated grips? the bike is fine for a 4 or 5hr drive its just when the ride gets a lot longer. don't think its a problem with the bike as its serviced regularly. I use ear plugs so noise isn't an issue

Triumph exhausts will have a part number under them near the back. The TOR (Triumph Off Road) exhausts are stamped "For Off Road Use" along with the part number underneath also.

no bought it second hand. not really mechanical minded so wouldn't know the difference. any pointers?

If there is a Triumph Dealer near you swing in and start a new one up and then you will know for sure. But if you feel it is loud you probably have TORS. Post a picture might be helpful to us helping you.

IF... And that's a BIG IF... I wanted to make my R3 quieter and smother..... I would re install my stock roadster exhaust system and air intake system and have a complete NEW Professional dyno tune done.
BTW... What year and model do you have- its not in your "rides" description (makes it easier when asking help advise etc...)
