Hi Today I changed my OEM exhaust pipes with over the counter slip on. No cutting, bending, drilling (just one hole), and any extra hi-tech thing. I bought Zodiac slip on muffler for $60. Removed original exhaust and catalytic converter, and slipped it on That's it. Less than 2 hours job. So far. But I am looking for new heat guard. Not sure, I guess it shall be another $30-40. Performance wise I didn't felt any difference, specially negative. My main motive was to make the pipe lauder enough to be heard to car drivers. Secondly, both exhaust were way too much wide. It make me difficult while lane splitting. I was/am very satisfied with the R3 performance, I don't want to wake up it's sleeping beast. I use this bike for daily commuting to office. (mad me). I am attaching few pics. Though it's not the greatest looking exhaust, but it solves my purpose. Louder & slimmer.
