May be not as comfortable but looks that is highly debatable. Paul posted the pic of my Rocket X which is way better looking than any Harley. I ride anywhere anytime the bike gets a lot of complements even from the Harley guys. Nothing better than sitting at a light and have a guy role his window down and say "NICE BIKE" Plus it is the only one of its kind in the entire state of Oklahoma. Not a cookie cutter type motorcycle. Enjoy your new ride. Forgot something. I do like the way the Harley's look in my rear view mirrors

like you said it is a matter of taste, no one will say that a harley road king is a bad looking motorcycle, when I sent a pic of a rocket roadster to my brother he said WTF, thats ugly. Want compliments ride a Honda Valkyrie 2000. my main problems with the roadster is the Intake cover, radiator design and its cover, as well as the front lights. It is a matter of taste. I would have bought a V max but could not except the style. The Roadster I can deal with, I almost bought the touring model rocket but it was sold when I returned. But I believe most people by a roadster because it has twice the performance of a Harley not twice the looks. I will do an experiment after I pick up the Roadster tomorrow. I live across the street from a high school and maybe 200 students walk buy my driveway each day. When I'm washing my bike I get numerous "nice bike" comments even from kids in passing cars. I will have both black bikes together and I will ask the kids passing by, I have to sell one of these bikes, which one do you think I should sell? I believe the kids will only vote on the looks, I doubt any of them know the performance of a Triumph Rocket Roadster but I do and that's why I bought one. I'll post the results of my survey.

Welcome from Upstate N.Y.!! After that ride you knew you were hooked!! Nothing like a Harley ever built. Buddy at work calls it the "extra" bike. extra headlight ,extra cylinder, extra exhaust pipe.and a lot of excitement!

I plan to pickup tomorrow the dealer is closed today Monday, uncovered my bike trailer yesterday, I now need a bigger trailer hitch for truck, wife took other vehicle never registered trailer so no valid plate but it has a california forever plate on trailer so might squeak by with that plate, and need a new spare tire. Perhaps I'll just pay the fifty dollars and take an uber cab to greenville and drive the bike home. Tonight I may have to take an ambien due to anticipation of one hour ride from Greenville SC Triumph dealer to my home in Hendersonville NC crossing the blue ridge mountains along the state boarder on the way home.

Pay the 50 bucks an ride her home Bill. It may take you a bit more than an hour once you start ridin,cause there's always a long way home.

Take the Uber. Nice thing is since it is a 2012 you don't have to worry about break in. 1 hour no problem grip it and rip it.
