I'm thinking if I use one of these n the degrees are the same from the top, middle, n bottom of fork tube, it means it's not bent. What do you guys think?

Clint,
I be no guru; however, I own and have used these magnetic protractors many times.
I would not trust their accuracy. I would use a plumb-bob like Rob said and measure the trail.
A little simple trig will then tell you what the rake is and if it's still in the ball park.
