Installed K&N filters x5, removed secondaries, plugged 02 at exhaust, tapped with electrical tape the 02 sensor. Played around with a few tunes but each time I go back to the 20050-3 the check engine light comes on????????? also says (in any tune) open loop cond not yet met, I open the tune then unchecked the 02 box and load the tune.
Could someone with a higher IQ than myself(that covers everyone except TonyMac) help a poor Scotsman out.

Try this tune. It's a dyno tune I had done a while back with the same set up. Best tune I have had.

When the bike is not running it will always say open loop conditions not met.

I have not been totally convinced that Tuneboy totally disables the O2 sensor either. I would order a O2 bypass. It also helps protect the plug.

Did you save the tune after you unchecked the O2 sensor box? I seem to recall reading somewhere on here that if you don't save before you load the tune back in, you aren't really loading your changes back into the bike. Then again, I could have imagined it!

When I had the O2 sensor box unchecked I noticed that the Open/Closed loop display on my Scangauge was blank. Anecdotal evidence at best, but it seems that the ECU wasn't trying to read anything from the sensor.

Brian that best tune you ever had seems to work great very little if any popping plus the check engine light goes out:D With the 20050-3 tune I could not get the CE light to go off plus the popping was crazy.
Question does your best ever tune correct the gears, speedo etc etc

Question does your best ever tune correct the gears, speedo etc etc

Yes it does cover all the standard corrections. I didn't mess with the rev limiter though. However, after seeing how fast you like to ride last year in Eureka Springs I thought it would be in your best interest if I set the speed limiter to 71 mph.

FYI the 20050_3 tune was the base for that tune. I then had it dyno'd and imported the PCIII map. It went from 146hp to 152hp and 155 ftlbs torque -- with Maddogs and triple filters. Now you are going to have to upgrade your clutch.:D

Pig9r...71 mph...what are you trying to do, get him a ticket?
