Hi all
just thought i would give you an update on the show, the halls were packed with all the latest models from all the major manufacturers and a couple of not so popular , Indian and victory seemed to be quite busy with some stunning bikes and the triumph and harley stands were pitched next to each other. Harley had the new models and paint colours on display and always look good but the bikes i wanted to see was the new rocket touring and the new thunderbird tourer. The rocket hadnt changed apart from a new colour but the new thunderbird tourer was nice but i think triumph may have missed the target, why didnt this bike have colour matched hard panniers, I purchased a thunderbird in 2011and although a great bike without hard luggage the bike didnt work for me so i traded it in for my rocket touring on a 2012 plate . I was going to trade it in and get a new 2014 plate rocket in march but the dealer wants £5500 and my rocket with 6000mls on it to do the deal so it aint going to happen . Maybe i will just paint the bike i have red and keep it until something catches my eye , merry christmas and a happy new year from me in the UK

But surely if you paint it red it will slow it down won't it?

No , this is a new kind of red, its aerodynamic and allows air molecules to slide over it with the minimum of friction. Someone told me it can add an extra 5 bhp at the rear wheel.
