Mysterious Earth

Earth wire goes from the battery straight down onto the rear of the sump. It s held with a bolt directly onto the sump, a 14 or 15mm spanner, I think, to take it off.
There is also a small connector on the left hand side that is spliced into the earth as well, with a black connector block.
I've just had mine off to clean up & check due to a non start problem. Easy to get to & identify.

Can anyone tell me where this earth goes please?

It's connected directly to the battery, but not sure where the other end goes.

There's a similar cable on the live side too?

I'm guessing fuse box but can't find it on the wiring diagram.

43 is the bolt to the starter for ground/earth/negative. The connector up top splices inside the cable, and that connector is crap!

should be able to see that (43) at the bottom rear of engine near starter
what i wonder is where that pig tail off ground wire goes to inside of wiring harness

Ya could trace it if you got a volt meter Turbo .
