My version of the Eastern Beaver instructions

Yes you deleted the two small parking lights. Just cut the wires and leave the lights in the bucket.

Paul, he wants to keep the little lights in order to pass state inspection i think
 
Hi @OnlyLexus, I took the little parking lights out when I installed my Beaver. You may have to work it a bit to see if it can be installed with the lights still in there.

However, there are two alternatives. The best one is a keyless system made by @DEcosse which bypasses the switch altogether and so solves the problem that way. A little pricey, but plug'n'play and well worth it. The cheap redneck one can be found in my signature - but if I were doing it again I would use DECosse's system (which wasn't available when i made mine), and he is also a Scot.
