After 47642 miles my bike has finally sprung a wee leak it seems to be from behind the oil tank, very small seep but it will only get bigger, I remember Molinoman (Dennis) had the same leak when we went to RAA 11 in Nashville except his was a gusher.
Any thoughts I am thinking the o rings behind the oil tank?

Yup, likely the o-rings at the connection of the oil tank to the engine. I had the same problem at 62k miles. Actually, I had the problem long before that its just that it became a gusher at 62k. Simple and cheap fix, cost me 13 bucks for the rings and handling/shipping from bikebandit. Just make sure you keep close track of all your electrical connections and MAP sensor hoses when you remove the throttle bodies to get the oil tank off. I forgot to plug one of those back in, or over looked it, and the bike ran like crap and it took a while and a lot of foul language to figure out the problem.

I third the diagnosis of the o-rings...but actually my oil leak wasn't really as bad as I thought, just didn't look that great and had to be wiped off. Dink fixed it under warranty I believe...but that probably would not apply in your case.

Yes I remember some had that issue early on too. I think that o-rings weren't lubed when the pieces were pushed together causing them to roll or kink.

Mechanic laughed at me when I brought mine in very early in it's life for the O-ring problem as I was not happy. He knew I had ridden many a Triumph and he reminded me of my old "leakers". One time fix, no problems since.
