My new riding position

Shifter rod round 2, this time all steel and one piece, still needs some sanding and polishing though.

You need a set of my stainless brakeline clamps on the front fender and a set of my handlebar clamps so you can get rid of the cheesy zip ties. You have that 'clean look' up front an 10 cent zip ties. Other than that, you are looking good.:)

One thing I always have wondered is why people blank the license plate out? Outstanding warrant maybe?

chuck--nice pics on your site! --- for you youngsters that was "spencer davis group" singing background tune-("i'm a man")
--steel shifter rod looks good. now you'll probably break the in-case splined shifter rod!
--tha longer beard/shaved top brawn is you chuck!!
give us some "inside covers" pics on headlights and custom raask set-up when you're thru w/ r&d.
super nice work!

Thanks jlm, at least a few of you can give me a compliment without telling me what I didn't do right, what I should do next or trying to sell me something.

As for you Mr. sidecar, how dare you mock my 10 cent zip ties?! How is adding a bunch of clamps to my handlebars add to my "clean look"? You inspired me to take my beloved zip ties and make my bars much cleaner than I ever could with bulky clamps.

40 cents worth of clean!

Another eyesore gone. I couldn't stand looking at that dodgy mid-pipe any longer, I cut up a 2 1/4" drag pipe that I had collecting dust and made a heat shield. The bend in the drag pipe was about 70 degrees instead of the 85 degrees that I needed so I had to miter it some to get it to work. It is far from perfect but it is a heck of a site better than it was, at a glance it almost looks like a stock exhaust.

Bar end mirrors

Mean chuck,
who makes those bar end mirror for the rocket, i'm looking for a set and everybody is giving me grief about them saying they don't make them for the rocket.

No one makes these for the Rocket, like everything else I do I either make something fit that is made for something else or I just make my own. These are Oberon Performance mirrors made for 7/8" bars. I just cut some pieces off an old set of 7/8 bars and used some stainless steel washers and some allen shoulder bolts and bolted it together with some nylon spacers to center the pieces of pipe on the bolts. I am running aftermarket bars with different size bolts in the barends than stock. Motorcycle parts and accessories by OBERON :: performance motorcycle parts accessories UK based

When I initially put them on with the stock bars I used the pieces of 7/8 and barend weights off of a T-bird Sport and it looked like this-
