My first rocket ride

yes i had three rides now and we ended up riding about 200 miles yesterday and ended up the old bryants saloon, which is now wildcatz...it is one of those bar rescue places...As we rode up... there were about fifty HD's parked and a couple of MC's hanging out. As the beast came in everyone was watching...it stole the show for awhile, then a new fully loaded Indian rode up with a custom paint...so the show switched...

R3Tex I am doing the blue highway ride today and will stop at woodys...lol
You don't happen to live around the Katy area do you? I stop at Bryant's now and again and we do steak night on Thursdays at County Line if you are

I do...I am about five or so miles from county line. We will have to hook up some time. I also ride with four or five guys on the weekends...ill let you know when we ride again...i missed san luis today but will hit in the morning. "Work" came calling...but for sure tomorrow.

Somebody tell me about County Line. I've heard of it and may have even driven by it. At any rate, my wife's sister lives in Katy and we go back and forth a few times a year. Is it worth a "stop in?"

On Thursday notes they fire up the grill and for $10 or so you get to season and cook your own and they provide all the fixings. Usually a few bikes there...more if the weather is good. All in all not a bad little place. It's on the Westpark tollway at Grand Mission

  1. It is off westpark toll road. It is a great biker bar, just right off the tollway. county line http://thecountylinebarandgrill.com/
  2. The other place to go is what use to be known as bryants but now called "wildcatter". It is off I-10 in Katy...out by katy mills mall...go out on a sunday and you will see a ton of bikes there...live band and the works... http://www.wildcattersaloon.net/
  3. if you end up in galveston which is a nice ride from katy...hit the blue highway ride (google it) or san luis pass ride...and stop in at woodys...it is an long time biker bar...then head down the road to "the spot" more bikers...and great onion rings...good food
  4. then there is the "**** ice house"...off hwy 6...been around for years...basically a garage...no air conditioner, they open the garage doors and then you just hang out... http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-dam-ice-house-houston
  5. A biker owns "church hills" off 1464...the road that connects to westpark tollway and the county line...about five miles apart from each other...not so much a biker bar, but bikers do come in from time to time... http://www.churchillsbartexas.com/
All those are cool bar hopping close to each other...other than galveston which is about an hour to hour and half ride out depending on which way you go...

You pay for your meal and then you have to cook it yourself? If I am paying for a meal, then I want it cooked for me.
