I also wear an airbag vest/jacket past dozen years. I agree safety first! I am frugal like most but have easily made up the cost of a good jack working on my bikes myself. And feel good with my investment.

Just an update on the Big Blue lift, I used it yesterday to lift up my Indian Challenger with ease. I removed the rear wheel and put a new tire on. Everything went smoothly and I highly recommend the lift.

I do agree with you about it being safe but the issue is it's a false sense of safety and those land you in trouble eventually. Look I've done more with less and been more sketchy than that but in the end. Are you willing to put 30grand of bike in the air and risk death by crushing or serious life changing injury to save a few grand? There are plenty of very safe ways to lift up a bike. I would never trust a few light welds on some 1/8 " square tube steel to 30 inches apart to keep that from happening. How often do you trip over something? All it takes is a little bit of carelessness to cause catastrophic results with these things. Yes there cool cheap and good but it's not safe by any means due to the false sense of safety that they provide. That's the issue. Not that it's worked plenty of times.
The risk is not worth the reward.
I have seen small lights go for about 800 bucks that are perfect for these sorts of things.
But hey.... Isn't that why we ride motorcycles? The risk ... The adventure... The thrill... Imo if you are the kinda rider who has a airbag vest or pants I would think you would also agree with my above statement.
Eh if I was in those shoes I'd just mod the back end and the forks to take an axle stand.

Great system but can't change the oil on a rocket. Also the issue is that the center of gravity is at the back of the engine. All the lifts on the market suck for the rockets because it means you are lifting on both the engine pan and the exhaust cat... At least on the 1st gen. Never lifted the new ones.
And for almost 700 after tax and shipping a rear wheel stand mod looks really cheep

i paid almost 300$ when supply chain issue happened all around, for this center jack, i am very happy with it, yes you cant change oil but you are not suppose to change oil anyways on a jack/center stand anyways as per manual. other than that, this center jack can do pretty much anything, i have tried removing rear wheel while rocket was on this center jack and the bike didnt move/wobble an inch.

Yep, good advice like @Journeyman 's re those airbag vests and comparative personal values.
But like most people in some aspects of their lives', and despite common sense, I prioritize other purchases with the 'it won't happen to me' or ' whatever will be, will be' even when it happens, sometimes repeatedly!

After breaking 3 ribs tripping over a parked trailer a couple of months ago, a CT scan revealed multiple calcifications in my spleen from earlier multiple heavy impacts from a couple of 'Offs' in the past 10 years where I had not bothered to get medical attention despite extensive external bruising.
Being on XARELTO (a non reversible anticoagulant Rivaroxaban) permanently for the past 10+ years after multiple pulmonary embolisms due to a inherited double dose of the Factor V Leidin gene, I now bruise very well and risk bleeding out internally from a heavy fall.
I should probably not ride at all and if I do always wear one... but I don't, despite thinking anyone riding without a helmet or jacket/boots etc is a Lunatic! Go figure!

Everyone assesses risks and have values and levels of judgement they apply differently to various aspects of their lives, it is what makes us human, dumb and smart simultaneously!

I totalled my R3T without hitting anyone else at 60mph on a wet and greasy tollway and did a backwards face-down snow-angel for a hundred yards in my Triumph hi-vis winter jacket and strangely had no external bruises but a few sore points.

I reckon my 300lb's share of blubber may have similar shock absorbing and dispersal properties like ballistic gel!

Airvest? (helmet, ABS, leather, armor, gloves, boots, accessory lighting)- what a P.... , uh, "kitty" that guy is. People that wear all that stuff are just "skerdy cats" - except professional racers, of course, on closed tracks just dealing with other professional riders- not deer, texters, imbeciles, drunks, meth heads....

Funny how we went from lifting to airbags…

Does anyone make a lifting adapter like @VABird did for the Rocket III? I sold the lift adapter I had on my R3T with the bike so the new Rocketeer who bought it won’t be pulling his hair out on a wobbly lift. But would love one for this bike if it is possible.
