Motor trike disappointment

Good Luck Bear.
don't let em slide,
or try to slick leg ya,
with "it worked when it left, so what'd YOU do"?
I'd try to be rational and as calm as possible considering they put your life at risk,
and the lives of anyone you may have come into contact with.
Nice way of saying, Wrecked into.
Anyway,
Good luck.

WOW!!!! I wouldnt take it back there even if they did say they would pay for gas!!!! I would of told them sorry son of a B's to get on the next train and get your arse over to my place or theres going to be a serious lawsuit on your hands like when this trike goes fyling down the road by itself and crashes into something cause there were no GD brakes!!!!!!! That rig should have never left the factory and IMO is piss poor manufacturing! The liability alone should have scared them into making a house call.
Hope it turns out. Do they have a website? Like to see what kind of hoax theyre perpetrating !!!!!! Look forward to the results of his trip

Ask them if they would like a ton of pissed off Rocket riders on their doorstep? Better yet, post their service managers e-mail on this thread:mad::eek:. Expalin that there are a bunch of us watching the eventual outcome.

Well so far so good (I think). Yesterday, I overheard part of phone conversation on my lunch hour. I heard him explaining to the guy in a quiet smooth tone that he was thin skinned and was not being threatened. (even though I know it was in his thoughts to threaten.) Anyway the various phone conversations were not going anywhere towards a solution. So BearMan decided to load it up and show up on their doorstep. He left here around 2am this morning. Showed up there in time for their 8am open. Says that in person the guy was much nicer. He left it there and will be checking back with them in a bit to see status. Hoping he doesn't have to stay the night.

And of course he was not in a good mood last night because of the mess with the brakes and then when he got ready to start it to ride it up on the trailer...guess what! It wouldn't start. Darn switch went out on it apparently. This second one his bike has gone through. I fixed it enough so it will start but going to have to get a new switch from Triumph again.

He is on his way home with the trike. They installed a master cylinder from a goldwing for his rear brakes. So far so good. Hope he gets to ride tomorrow. He really needs the stress release.

Has a new starter switch (or something like that) on order from Triumph. Remember I am a girl and probably have something wrong on that. :D

Said he guesses he will clean the bugs off of it now to show it off. Hopefully, I can post pictures tomorrow evening or next day. :)

Glad to hear it worked out! Guess I know who not to use when considering this modification! Thanks for posting. Looking forward to the pictures

Either that or make sure and pick it up plenty before they close and do a full test ride on it? He was rushed because they didn't have it ready much before they closed for the weekend. He saw they 10 miles added on the odometer so he assumed they had tested it. But between you and I...I think they took it for a spin before the alterations. After all who wouldn't....it is a Rocket after all...:D

If he has already burned out his 2nd ignition switch, Bear really should consider the headlight relay kit that many of us have been installing. It takes a considerable amount of electrical load off the switch. Easy-peasy to install.

I really hope that they got it all fixed right so that you can finally take and post some pictures.
