Have a look at my chariot conversion. presently getting the mark 3 built, details to follow. I have a BMW M5 e39 differential 2.93ratio for sale. This is not a limited slip diff. Makes a good back end using BMW parts. gearing is too high for my weight with wheelchair. Just put yet another clutch in. I use Ford Sierra. Managed to find a lower ratio diff.
Hoping the new gearing will solve the problem.

Also you want rake kit,steering is very heavy with out it. the electric reverse is faster than you may want to back up,i am used to it not a problem
