Funny but brings up a good point. Not that I would do anything different but did everyone pay strict attention to the break in miles? Seems alot for a MC. I dont ride mine everyday and 1000 miles seems like a lot for the break in.

That is a question with right at 2,983 answers... On my 2014, it was either 500 or 600 miles for the break in. I scheduled the break in check with the dealer for two days after buying it and brought it back to them with around 700 miles on it. Evidently not that many people break in a new bike that quickly. I wanted them to do the maintenance for the first few 10K mile checks to ensure everything was in spec. The oil change made a huge difference in finding neutral on mine.
