Mirrors - upside down

Looking for some pics and advice. I have a rocket 3 r storm, with the round accessory mirrors. Toying withe the idea of swapping them to be under the bars. Before I do, wanted to know from anyone who has done this, how well do the mirrors work and any issues ?

Won't they hit the tank sides if installed upside down?

Spotted this and really like the seat colour and the mirrors turns down, not sure about hitting the tank, but have seen several pics of rockets with the mirrors turns down down. Just wondering how well they work.

I do not understand the underside mirror thing. Like Edge they are too low. I don't even like the look.

You have to have your chin resting on the tank to appreciate the mirrors lol

I don’t care for underside mirrors either but it’s a real problem in my opinion how far the mirrors/handlbars stick out on the rocket 3’s and it seems to be right at mirror height for most vehicles. I’ve already smacked mirrors twice by accident while riding so I inverted them which is slightly better but still tagged a mirror once afterwards. I think I’m other going to have to try flipping mine down or go to a round mirror with a different profile or maybe clamp on’s thar I could position differently.

As I explained in another post I removed these **** handlebar end mirrors to replace them with much more efficient classic mirrors. Putting the mirrors at the end of the handlebars upside down is, after testing it, the worst solution...they hit the fuel tank and really force you to take your eyes off the road! Now everyone does what they please and the cows will be well looked after...(French farmer's proverb!)
