Test rode this 120/70 ZR 18 Michelin Pilot mounted up front, and I give it 2 thumbs up with the 10mm dropped forks. She's as sensitive as any sportbike now... just think turn an shift a cheek off the seat. In fact, I would only recommend this combo in conjunction with the steering damper. Holds a line perfectly in carved turns, and while I didn't push it super hard yet (new tire), it does not skid out of fast, hard sweepers. Tracks perfectly straight with hands off bars, low or high speed. The Michelin is significantly lighter than the 150/70 Pirelli it replaced, so I can catch air shifting 1,2, & 3 @ 7300. I'm jazzed... thanks to Art (IMFASTTOO) for getting me to try the 120/70!
Yes, the new fender will be glassed , filled, and painted... black with blue flames of course!
