For now I just left the front of the bearclaw that covers the tank intact when I cut it to expose the filters so I could leave the stock one alone. Maybe later on I'll do some more trimming and have to move it. So now I use the stock filter location for the PCIII, tools, bungie cords, flash light and the service manual on CD and thumb drive.

Well, I do keep a spring loaded center punch handy and strategically located on the bike. It's for those occasions when a cager starts getting silly and needs a wake up call.
I kick doors and dent the hell out of them when I'm wearing steel toe boots, but I don't always ride wearing them. The center punch easily shatters windows by just "touching" them. Most of the time they don't even realize that I did it, works great.

I'm checking with a couple of mechanic friends on which they believe might be the better product: your (1) Summit Racing Sum-300101-w, 20 oz. aluminum overflow tank or the (2) Weapon-R 826-134-101, 24oz. aluminum overflow tank. Both seem like solid products. Both are tig welded and 20 or more ounces capacity. Both are within $5 of each other price-wise. Both feature rear bracket for easy application. What hose did you employ on that baby of yours?

Thanks dracul, its just automotive hose. This set up seems to syphon back to the radiator well, even though its a bit lower than the rad. filler.
