For now I just left the front of the bearclaw that covers the tank intact when I cut it to expose the filters so I could leave the stock one alone. Maybe later on I'll do some more trimming and have to move it. So now I use the stock filter location for the PCIII, tools, bungie cords, flash light and the service manual on CD and thumb drive.

Well, I do keep a spring loaded center punch handy and strategically located on the bike. It's for those occasions when a cager starts getting silly and needs a wake up call.
I kick doors and dent the hell out of them when I'm wearing steel toe boots, but I don't always ride wearing them. The center punch easily shatters windows by just "touching" them. Most of the time they don't even realize that I did it, works great.

Tell me about this device. Do you compress it and lock it back, or is it the type that you have to push it against a window until it cocks and then automatically fires off?
The Aerolite Man! Seriously excellent bike fella. I'm checking with a couple of mechanic friends on which they believe might be the better product: your (1) Summit Racing Sum-300101-w, 20 oz. aluminum overflow tank or the (2) Weapon-R 826-134-101, 24oz. aluminum overflow tank. Both seem like solid products. Both are tig welded and 20 or more ounces capacity. Both are within $5 of each other price-wise. Both feature rear bracket for easy application. What hose did you employ on that baby of yours?
