MAYBERRY DAYS 2016

Committed to this trip . . . travel plan for Wednesday is Dobson, NC to meet up with the folks already headed there.

Just don't want to miss the rest of y'all.
 
I recently changed employers and forfeited the vacation I had intended to use for this get together, my apologies. No matter the cause, I can only ingest a limited quantity of crap from an employer and I was beyond my capacity a couple of months ago so I moved on. That cut my days off to the Friday before. I would rather have been there with y'all for the duration as I have a few things I wanted to speak with the group about going forward into 2017.

You all know I love cooking. I need to do something about that again. Don't mean to be secretive but I wanted to use y'all as a sounding board. I'm not seeking investors, just moral support and free word of mouth advertising if I make a go of this. Triumph riders would be well received, however the Harley crowd is more easily separated from their discretionary spending money. I would be looking for any hungry motorcyclists primarily.

I hope to catch up with a few of you, even if it's briefly. Safe travels friends.
 
Ayep. Called "Real life", and the real answer to the question when we were little and adults would bend over and peer down at us and ask, "What do you want be when you grow up ?"

Alright Josey my stomach is growling now. There are some good ribs here in Norfolk but none compare to yours :)

Whilst on the first leg of the trip to Mayberry Days, we found a lot of gas station's on the interstate are out of fuel. Seems like here at MV and off the main road things are OK. I hope this pipeline issue don't scuttle our grand plan. 'Course there are worse things than being stranded with Gabby for a week.

Find your passion and do that. Rewards are not always financial in nature. Happy faces are good too. I've been an electrician for 40 plus years, but I prefer to create offerings for the palate. Mesquite smoked Angus beef. Made this today.
