Matching helmet? Who really needs it, but still nice?

Looking for a matching helmet for an '05 Triumph R3 in Cardinal Red. This color is very close to candy apple red (red with some metallic highlights), but the no colors of aftermarket helmets will match exactly. Any suggestions, other than to have a professional painter do the work?

If you want it all one color, you may want to talk to finkenator9.
He is an aspiring painter and will currently only charge for shipping and materials. I believe he said $20 plus shipping. At one time he stated that he did not do pinstriping, but I am talking to him about making me a helmet to match my bike, black & sunset red w/ silver pinstriping, I just have to round up a helmet to send him.

I bought a candy red Arai 3/4 from J&M Headsets that may match the cardinal red perfectly. I have a Mulberry Red R3 and the helmet is a few shades lighter but in the same family, should match up to the cardinal red real nice. I don't think they show it but they have it. http://www.jmcorp.com/

I've got the PERFECT helmet for you...

I bought the new HJC Sy-Max II helmet in WIne Berry and it matches my 05 Cardinal R3 almost perfectly. Plus, it is modular and has a cool fighter-pilot drop down visor that stores inside the top. I paid $220 on eBay and it is so comfortable, roomier than my full face and makes it so easy to take a drink or chew gum, etc...

I just bought this Candy Red Shoei and it seems pretty close to my '05 RIII.

(You don't have to have the mohawk, but it does help get you in the right frame of mind for this bike!) :lol: :lol: :lol:

large half shell

I've got a large half shell that is used and I can paint it to match as closely as possible. Send me a pic of your tank with the cardinal red in it.
I can make it two-tone or whatever.
