- 2017 Rocket 3 R modified trike to take wheelchair
As it has already turned to winter in Scotland, rain and 13 degrees today I have decided on a redesign of the trike. Have approached Paul Lumley and he will do the build over the winter. I have done what I can with the clutch but it looks like I can only get 1200 odd miles. Only thing left to do is to replace the narrow friction plate with a full width plate and leave out the spring. With this in mind I am going to reduce the weight and wind resistance.

Rounded at front and with fairing (black with red stripes to match tank)
BMW m5 e39 diff lower ratio still to be decided (changing the tyre profile has helped a lot. Now running 245/40/17 instead of 245/45/17
Will use the ford sierra half shafts with adapters to suit the BMW diff if possible.
Hoping th reduction in weight and streamlining will have the desired effect
