Making a Rocket look like this...

whats with that mesh on your pipes mate ?
An experiment at making a heat shield out of perforated Stainless Steel sheet it is doing a good job of savng the wets or anything else from touching the pipe but does not quite look the way I want it so is just there temporarily

UGLY? DSC02208.JPG I don't think so.

I am a big guy, and it's a big bike. I want to play with some BIG players in the racing game, so I need SERIOUS power with myself riding(300+lbs) on a big bike(hopefully modding it to look like I want lightens it up some) to compete with superbikes(think BMW S1000RR), modded sportbikes that are pushing MEGA power levels(250-400+, think turbo 'busas) and 1000-2500 hp cars from both a dig and on the top end. I don't know if the X can live up to what I want it to do, and if it could, it still would be limited on where I could ride it on e85.

Have you guys not heard of Gecko45? I think what we may have here is the R3 equivalent of Gecko45. ;)

Ugly? Blasphemy! The R3 is a thing of beauty left as is.
When you're parked amongst a bunch of HD's guess what stands out the most?
BTW what is the collective term for a group of Harley's? Let m rip boys
A tool of HDs - a repair of HDs - a push of HDs - a slow of HDs - a rock of HDs cause they go faster if you throw them. @FunkSoulBro

Hahahaha mate thats got to be one of the funniest things ive ever read, thats getting shared on FB , my Mil friends will get a laugh out of that.

Way back when it was new it was much funnier. People were feeding into it and he kept getting more outlandish. The special wall climbing boots is what got the mall ninja thing going.

I could care less what he does to his bike. I actually enjoy seeing them tricked out in different fashions and would love to see a scrambler/racer RIII.
My issue is coming on an RIII forum and telling everyone you think it's an "ugly ass bike"! A simple lesson in life...if you're going to ask people for help and advice don't start by insulting them!!!
Even more reason to wonder why it's called "Common" sense!
