Last night I ordered the LIN3 strobe and the programmable controller. I'll fab a bracket to fit it under the license plate.

That setup will be on my R3 very soon.

I've been part of a three-way pass twice. Last time was a Camry passing a Semi going south on a two lane as I was going north. I failed to salute the Camry driver appropriately while skirting down the shoulder since I was busy trying to avoid a colon dump into my drawers. The truck driver was being helpful by maintaining a straight line and a constant speed while the bozo in the Camry, the truck and me all made it by.

Heck of a maiden voyage! Glad to hear your okay. I had a buddy lose his Triumph Trophy about the same way. He was stopped at a stop light, and just happened to look in his rear view mirror to see a truck barreling down on him at 50 MPH.. not stopping. He got off the bike and jumped out of the way just as the truck hit is Trophy, sending the bike sailing for 30 yards then end over end... I have the only good part left from his bike on my Trophy.. the right front turn signal.. lol

my oldest son on his 05 rocket 2years ago got rear ended just as he was about to put his foot down stopping at red light heard car motor reving up as it passed him on inside lane happened to look in mirror saw full sized van comming up from behind twisted throttle dropped clutch just as he got hit rode bike thru light put kickstand down walked back to van 18 yr. old locking doors in a hurry. good thing cop was 2 blocks back saw what happened or driver would have been drug out thru busted window.called dad showed up with trailer to get bike home son was not hurt at all thank god. cop gave driver a warning ticket felt sorry for him it was his 18th birthday dad told cop he was a #%*&@ IDIOTDRIVER ON BIKE LUCKY TO BE ALIVE /SERIOUSLY HURT 4 more cops showed up took dad to jail. the things you do for youre kids.
