Maggie valley June 2019

I rode up to Maggie today. My favorite ride is 215 good and curvy and only seen one car. Little snow at top of the mtn.today. Good loop from Waynesville, Parkway to 276 down to Brevard back up 215.
Yep...215 is "Parkway Rd" that I mentioned.

Hey @Ogre, you think we could find the restaurant we went to? The one we passed 10 or 15 Harley's at Rocket speed. Boy they were pissed. Until they saw the Harley sticker on the back of my saddlebag

In the old days I'd be coming from rhe north so would probably run the dragon in from Knoxville and out after the ride. That leaves time for the other roads and church
I've stayedon the Maggie Valley site, all 135 pages, and are enjoying the vacation plans. I've been to the area 5 or 6 times, enjoying all the curves. Since I'm riding down from Kalamazoo MI. I'm wondering on the route planning. I've tried different roads and enjoy a mix of highway and state/county roads. Any ideas on a scenic ride to Maggie Valley. We're staying at the Travelodge. Can't wait to see all the Rockets in one place!

Your memory is much better than mine...
I am thinking you are thinking about this place...
Tellicafe | Monroe County's Premier Restaurant

I was thinking Telediner but it's Telecafe in Tellico Plains, TN and we got there via Cherohala Skyway (with a side trip to the waterfalls)...is that the place you're thinking about, Ken?

Go to this or similar site....select rides on your way and string them together into a route.
