You ferners need to know that there is a temperature differential in the tunnels on the parkway and they hold moisture. Some tunnels are curved. Carry too much speed into a tunnel and it's not easy to correct. Stay on point, don't accelerate, just roll through them. There may be " marbles " in corners where cages pull them onto the road surface due to lack of driving skill. Craggy Gardens is a great spot to see and close to Mount Mitchell which is the highest mountain peak East of the Mississippi and the highest point on the Parkway is just out.of Maggie going West.
