Madstad Windscreen

That is a madstad shield on the pic of your bike? Looks nice, better than my flat one.
MadStad hardware but the screen is one I bought off or ebay and is from Poland. I had the straight 20" madstad but bought it too short so I swapped for this one. When this came there was no mounting hardware and I just put it on a shelf. Now I have 2 shields for this bike.

Ha! So the holes in the shield from ebay matched the madstad brackets?

Mostly, they are larger so I had to buy some rubber grommets from the local Ace store. I also used the original aluminum fittings on top of the windshield. I think it looks better.

BTW, this is the screen I bought: TALL TOURING SCREEN TRIUMPH ROCKET 3 GT WINDSCREEN WINDSHIELD HIGH DEFLECTOR | eBay
I would not have bought it if I had known about MadStad and would have gotten a taller shield from MadStad. Either a 22" or 24".
Thanks for that.
The method for determining correct shield height on madstad website did not work perfectly for me. From mid tank to lips was 21 inches. Add 3 inches per website. So 24 inch shield is what I ordered. It is pretty good. But a little buffeting as top of helmet getting hit in forward and up position. Better when angled back 1 notch, but lose a little protection. I wanted better so ordered a 26 inch since they can make it. 60% off price of shield. Only 10$ for added 2 inches.
I have the 24 inch shield, for those 6ft tall and under,, medium grey smoked, for sale 50$ plus shipping. Regular price 160.00. Almost new. Perfect condition.

@RhinoOK How has that shield from Poland worked out for you after a year of use? I was looking at that due to the recurve at the top. I had a recurve shield on my touring and really liked the airflow. Wondering for the longevity of that shield off eBay.

Been very good so far. Very adjustable. I have it in the lay back position most of the time. That's almost perfect for me, but easy to raise for easy cleaning and more protection in the rain.
