Sorry for your loss Fred. My dad passed away from not wearing a helmet. We rode ATVs and never thought he would get a head injury because he didn't ride crazy like me. I wore a helmet. He was going to buy a helmet the next time we was in town ... we talked about it....but he never made it.

I just found out yesterday. My crazy friend Lawrence passed away Saturday. I had mentioned him in a post here recently. He ran all his motors to edge and beyond. Apparently he was doing doughnuts with one of his Harley's and lost it, hitting his helmet less head on the ground. We go back about 45 years. He was 61 years young. RIP my friend.

WOW, Fred! We both are in the crap!
Both of our friends went down unexpectedly from motor crash injuries.
Pain from the loss of my friend has caused me to seriously assess the riding time I have left and where do I want to ride before I'm done?
I FEEL for you, Fred & I know this hurt shall be with us for awhile to come.
