I also have a 2005 in my collection with 70000 trouble free miles, first thing to do is rip the horn off and install an air horn, check your tyres regardless of the tread if they are over five years old replace them.

welcome from Georgia, I had to take a double look. your bike looks similar to mine. I have 37k miles on my 05 and the only trouble I've had is tires waring and speeding tickets doing what causes the tires to ware tires out.
