If you want a good buy on a cruiser that has the charms tics you mention, check out a used Yamaha Roadstar. I have 45,000 miles on mine and it has been a fantastic bike. Here is a link to the ad. I am looking for a rocket III tour because I want something different and a bit more tour oriented.

1999 Yamaha Roadstar

i also have the short inseam. if you want people to ask and complement your bike as well as enjoy low seat height and torque-plus modern electronics. look into the 1400 Moto Guzzi. they have touring model and others and can be had pretty reasonable. also you have the yamaha roadliner or stratoliner powerful and low!!

I got rid of an ST1300 with a special low seat, because it was too tall. Just sayin'

Like the looks of the Low Rider.

Congratulations.

My second bike was a 94 Dynaglide, very similar, but only a single disc up front, really tough to stop quick.
