Long time Valkyrie enthusiast may switch to R3

I bought the Rocket mainly as I wanted a Brit bike (being an ex pat Brit myself) even though I was within a squeak of buying a Valk. Two things come to mind (at least on mine) - the transmission I guarantee you will not like, mine has 30,000 miles on it and the trans is a clunky affair, as another member mentioned, after the turbine 6 I think you will find the vibrations that creep in objectionable (of course much smoother than any V twin but personally I don't care for it). Power-wise the bike cannot be beat and it looks great too. Resale is non-existent, the Valk on the other hand seems to be doing quite well. Just my 2 cents

Hello all,
I have been a long time Valkyrie owner, and am looking at getting an R3. My experience is about 25k miles on a CBR and about 80k miles on the Valkyrie. I love the looks of the R3, and I hope to meet people and learn more before I buy.
Hi golfun99 and welcome to the group.
