Levers - What options are there

Will take a look, i am looking more for cosmetic, the OEM work but dont look good in the standard colour, would get black but they are just as costly as good aftermarket.

What is the advantage to these levers?
  • Less likely to get stranded by a simple fall over, or worse, with no clutch. (Foldable)
  • I like to cover the brake and usually just use two fingers for braking- it fits better having that side adjusted shorter
  • I adjusted the clutch to three fingers
  • They look better
  • Just now realizing, looking at my photos, that I could hang tassels from the end holes. 🤣

These are by AVDB Moto

Good pics. I put them on my 14 Rocket and really liked them. They brought the clutch back a tad. I like the clutch to engage out a half inch or so as it's easier for slow maneuvering. Was there any problem putting the clutch side on? I have been holding off as I'm skeptical to do pretty much any mods as I can't un fu** up any of my mistakes on the newer Gen bikes. Not real mechanical but the simple stuff I can and like to do.
It was all pretty easy, really. I’d go for it. Unlike the older bikes there are no cable adjustments to worry about.

So I was suppose to adjust the cable after I put them on my 14 Rocket? Uh oh. Well I rode it around 9K after I put them on so sorry person that bought my 14 two years ago you might want to adjust the cable. Had to let him know.

Sounds like it's fine 🤣
... and adjusting the cables is pretty easy - if needed.

I installed them on my '11 Roadster too.....

Final question, for the brake lever do you have any play or is it resistance straight away, I didn’t adjust the pin for the master cylinder, just removed from the oem lever and fitted to the aftermarket, with only riding the bike once before the weather turned, I don’t know what the feel is like for the brake
thanks
