Les and Helen arrived at lunchtime today after spending best part of two days driving down from QLD with my new girl, after unloading on next doors sloping lawn I Had to ride up the road (snigger snigger) to turn around before parking it in my drive way and then backed her down my driveway before Les and Helen followed us into town for a Nice water side Lunch, After Lunch We bid Les and Helen farewell as they were going up to Canberra to spend the night with Family, I then donned a skid lid and took her for ride around the Suburb to make sure my arm was up to taking her into town to get the blue slip and rego transferred ..... she is now wearing a nice new set of NSW plates

Les and his Lovely Wife Helen .... all a bit much for Les having a standing nana nap

Yeah the Souls feeling lots better just sticking to riding on road for moment till arm is finished healing, looking at the Electronics, it is amazing that apart from the couple little things they changed when they released the Roadster eg electronic fuel gauge with dist to empty etc there are so many other things they could have incorporated over the last few years it's crazy, the new 2017 Explorer has even more electronic wizardry but What I have in this 2014 one is enough for me, downside of all this fancy electronics is it took me ages to find a ignit' on live wire to power the Garmin as I like it wired so it comes on with the ignition and yeah Triumph has still set the speedo 6% optimistic at 100 km on the speedo ti is showing 94 km on the GPS but seeing how it is locked there will be no tweaking going on there, going to have to get a triumph tool just to do maintenance stuff, to be honest I doubt I will want to change anything as it has gogs of silky smooth power and while not the neck snapping Torque of the Rocket it still has that nice Triple surge of Torque linear thru the revs with no humps or bumps

Sounds like me ,you have found a new love:inlove,my friends ask me if I am going to fiddle/tinker or dyno the GTR I ask Why ,but I have got rid of the ugly great silencer and put on a nice Staintune pipe and can with removable baffle it only adds 4HP but sounds like a big Japanese 4 should ,and it goes very nicely stock ,as you US guys say smooth as a prom queens thigh :whitstling::whitstling:

Yeah I have been toying with the idea of a Staintune muffler but kinda like it Quiet ... well it is till you open her up then it has nice growl
