Any UK Rocket owners going to this, the date is set. I went last year, awesome turn out for Lee RIP.
Latest News from Julia Stevenson: The ride has permission to leave from Greenwich Park.Friday 22nd May. Depending on numbers, the ride will leave Greenwich Park at 1130hrs to ride past Woolwich Bks and the scene where Lee was murdered. We are still waiting for the thumbs up from the MoD. As many of you know, the front gates at Woolwich bks cannot accomadate for all bikers to be present at the wreath laying ceremony and I feel that everyone of us should be there to take part in this memorial. We have a solution for this and hope MoD will give us permission so that we can remain together and lay our wreath..... If not, I have the ideal place for us all to go to and lay our wreath. The Ride from the Oakdene cafe will leave at 0900 prompt to arrive at Greenwich Park just after 1000hrs. The AFB (Armed Forces Bikers) are organising the marshalling in the park and if any of you would also like to put yourself forward to marshall we would be very grateful. The AFB are also the benificieries of any donations made this year and wristbands will also be available. We are looking at having T shirts made. Plus again the USRs ( Unity Support Riders) are with us to make the ride as safe as possible and lead us.Without their invaluable support this ride would not take place. More details to follow shortly.
