Leather Jackets....

My Bloody 'Xpert' leather jacket has shrunk!
In the summer i use a Triumph vented leather jacket which i love but its getting colder here now and i got the 'Winter' heavy leather jacket out and have found its bloody shrunk!
So...off to the shops i went today.
After visiting several different shops i went to the local Harley dealers 'just in case'.
Long story short...i came home with a very nice 'First Manufacturing' leather jacket for $NZ450...somewhat cheaper than many others and with lots of pockets.
I added CE armour to the shoulders and elbows which i had at home , but pretty happy.
I did consider getting a waxed cotton jacket as they sit pretty nicely i think...wasnt sure how they would go if i was to be sliding along the road tho....

I thought my washing machine was shrinking my clothes. When I wouldn't fit in my leather jacket, I realized the refrigerator was to blame, not the washer.

I snagged a Schott years ago, on sale at $500 if i remember, I can't imagine what they must cost now.

Edit: Wow, I just looked, almost $1000

I have one of those Schotts and it did cost. I have three other custom Langlitz coats and I just can’t afford to get fat. I say that after having a bowl of strawberry shortcake with heavy whipped cream.

Yep, there are Clint Eastwood and John Candy types, and all the way between, some who remain that way to the end and even late flippers like John Goodman!

I think I'll flip one day too!
