Dude, what's your boner towards the new bikes about? Glad you like your old one, I like my new one. Comments like yours make it so people like me want to share less. You're caustic to the community, and while you might feel like you need to justify your choices to yourself, you are really being a total cock to those of us who have made different choices.Good Luck![]()

You want to modify should have bought a older Rocket. Bottom line Your dealing with can of worms on the new ones.
Back to the thread: manufactured vehicles always have compromises to comply with lots of regulations, so people like myself find ways to un-compromise what we buy to suit ourselves. I don't want to ride a sewing machine, so I need to change the exhaust to suit that desire. I need to also make sure that, while the bike was safe before, I don't take it past the threshold of safe with my modifications. I also don't give one **** about emissions, which is why they run lean at all.
But that's what makes this hobby great. You can keep yours stock, I can change mine to make my smile just a little bit wider, and mad scientists can slap on superchargers.
