Me and about 10 mates went to Maidenwell for the pig in April. Rolled out the swag behind the pub. A top night the conversation with oldmate that cooks the pig is worth it alone. He sets up a square of corragated iron on the dirt at the foot of the front steps to the pub and gets his fire going right there. When he was finished cooking we gave him a hand to load up his gear and he left us some wood to keep a small fire going all night. The publican was a bit suss on this as it is under some low trees and right at the steps, he's had trouble before with people stoking the fire and nearly burning the pub down. But we got him and the barman out drinking with us by the end of the night and he worked us out.
 
We have our Post Concours party at maidenwell, had 50 people there last year, booked all the accom and a lot camped. Trashed the place...in a nice way of course. A real hoot.
 
Drikko - I didn't see anything in that post., just a little square with a red cross in it.
