Keeping the BEAST clean!!!!

go for a ride towards the end of a rainstorm... that way the road is cleaner and you don't have to wipe down as much when you get home...

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what's the best stuff to clean or wipe down the matte black finish with?

Any tips on keeping the chrome shining bright? Products etc?

I do nothing to the matte finish of my Roadster. A true professional auto painter I know said not to use anything on the paint..... the more its left alone the more matte it will get. Wax or anything with silicone is a big no no when comes to matte black paint. There isnt a clear coat or slick finish that needs to be protected so why wax or shine it? I just wash it and that's it.

I brought it to ride it not to wash it. After typing that I will admit to giving it a wash every 2 or 3 months if it neads it or not. No thats a lie if it doesn't nead it I'm not going to wash it.

Thursday was a nice day, I rolled the rocket out of the garage, the wife pulled out her Honda 1100. The sun was shining and I had two six packs of beer in the cooler. Washed the bikes, drank the beer, played with the wife, then waxed the bikes a great afternoon. Spent Friday riding. The rocket is fun even when cleaning it.:D

Quick wipe over with VERY fine wet'n'dry will keep it matte.
