The only exhaust I am aware of for the R3T is Paul's Viking set up. I have talked to him about slip-ons and the crossover. I contacted D&D & they no longer make slip-ons for the R3T. It will now be trying to save up the money for his set up and the Ram Air.
For those of you who have his slip-ons and crossover but with the stock headers, how much louder is his set up compared to the stock headers on the R3T? I have a hearing loss and am wanting to protect what hearing I have left. Quieter is better for me.

Why not wear ear plugs all the time??? My understanding is the wind noise when going fast damages the hearing more so than anything. Plus for me long rides with no plugs all the noise starts to aggravate me. But then, I am Old N' Grumpy!
I have a “motorcycle” setting for my hearing aids when on the bike. It lets me hear horns/sirens yet quiets other noises. For longer (IBA) rides, I use ear plugs. Just want to keep it as quiet as I reasonably can.
Thanks for those tips! Problem right now is finding some TORS or after market pipes for the touring. Not even considering the $$$. Saw some D&D's a few weeks back but can't drop $700 at the moment.
And I don't want to wait too long either, the bike will probably out live my ability to ride it.
The hearing of the intake was a huge shock to me. I swear it sounded like an exhaust sound coming from the front of the motor. Get the TORS if you can or some other more free flowing exhaust. Use a PCV or something to tune it well and it will pay off with big grins.
Well I must be deaf I think...I’ve installed the triple KNs , air box delete, DP outlaws etc...I have never heard this ‘ exhaust sound coming from the intake’ ? It’s sounds great and I guess a little different at the intake but not too decearnably so. Nor have I noticed ever the’chirping’ I’ve heard so much about. Could be that the DPs drown out the other ‘new’ noises. Or, could be I installed the exhaust , airbox delete , PCV / AT , Ozclaw immediately after I had its first service so within 1st two months.
Anyway , this is my third Rocket and I honestly cannot tell you I’ve ever significantly noticed much ‘extra’ noise at all. (My filters are now behind ozclaw). I feel I’ve missed out on something somehow?
If you're looking for a few extra ponies at low cost, there is a tune or two floating around that will give your Touring 30 more hp even with stock intake and exhaust. All it takes is a $20 cable.
I think if you add more air, and change nothing else, then it should be lean or more lean than rich. Do like Steel said with the 20 buck cable. There are still TORS out there. Triumph Off Road Silencers.
And if you follow Dave @scot in exile, you will be off roading down a gravel road
