Well

I must not be able to hear anymore....I got the tripple K&N....I don't hear much out of them....I do have the bearclaw on the scooter...

As to the de accl....popping.........Sucking back...what ever you want to call it...

I LOVE IT:eek::D:D

When gearing down to slow down....I nearly get a fatty :eek:....just from that sound

Just wish I could get it to do it all the time...when slowing down....

Never said I was right in the head.......:p

I can hear the hammering of the motor more with the K&Ns, but nothing resembling crickets??? Like Joey, probably, I've lost most of my high ranges in hearing, maybe that's it.

The fact that some people don't seem to hear the crickets could just be different stages of deafness but it could also mean it's something you can get rid off - for those who don't like it. Just gotta work out how. By the way, I'm sure I had them all along; just masked by the stock plenum. I can still hear them faintly with the ss intake.

crickets

I just turn off my hearing and I don't hear them anymore.
Seriously, I am that deaf.:D

Just a quick update: I have been carefully checking the fuel tank and have not seen any suction whatsoever since the first fuel-up. I will continue checking it and will have my wrench double check those hoses asap.

I have also had absolutely no decel popping since installing the PC5, which is excellent!

The crickets are fine, don't mind them at all, and when I twist the throttle they add a whole new layer of roar to the engine. I will like them even more, I think, when I get the jards on and have a big brutal exhaust note to go with them.

Thanks to everyone for your exceptionally helpful answers, particularly with the gas tank suction question!
