Jardine Opinions

Idaho red just curious as to where u found your tors? I've looked around yet haven't found any except a set on ebay for around $750 but still no cat delete.

Hey warp no big deal I figured you were either busy or it got lost in the sites change over to the new layout. Well I'm gonna keep the internals stock for the forseeable future. I'm only gonna keep this rocket for 2 years (extended warranty runs out) then ill be getting myself a new roadster. Thats partly the reason too I don't want to spend the extra cash on staintunes etc. But I still want my current baby to sound good

Could you expound on that, I'm curious, how could you put 1,2 or 3 mufflers on it, a selection of adapters?

He's mixing TORS pipes and stock pipes. They're the same externally. You could also get a slightly different sound with just one TORS pipe, depending on which one, especially with a Staintune cat bypass.

Sounds like a plan but go test ride a Roadster the make sure you like the new peg location. If not then you might want to look at a 09 model which still has the normal pegs and Classic version. If I end up going with a Roadster and do not like the new peg location, I will adapt the touring floor boards to it especially since they now also come with ABS.

Sure wish somebody would whip up a easy-peasy bolt on floorboard, shifter and brake set up for the Roadster with ABS.

I've got an extra set of TORS I picked up on ebay...more than happy to let them go. I do like the sound of the TORS on the beast though (compared to stock). Unfortunately, I don't have an extra delete crossover. Let me know if you're interested I'll did them out the garage and take some photos for you. I like the shorty's look too. Someday (when I'm not registering the bike in europe), I will come up with some shorter, wider pipes that fit both the aesthetics and power needs!

Please forgive my Noob ignorance, but what does TORs stand for? I've seen several references in the 10 days or so that I've been on.

ie. factory sports exhaust system that generally is not intended nor legal for on-road use (but that doesn't really stop anyone).
