Well then I need to paint my Roadster red.... the tickets are cheaper. I've got to pay a $275 citation that I got last week. Met with rainman and STB. Was on my way home.

I got written up for doing 75 in a 55 in Utah on my Indian recently, I told the Trooper he must have made a mistake cuz the bike doesn't go that fast, but he wasn't buying it

Been pulled over 3 times recently for RBT - they pull 20 vehicles over at a time and also check your licence. All 3 times when they got to me on my Street Triple they just waved me on. 2 months after the last time, I discovered my rego had expired 3 months earlier.
Someone up there's looking after me.

We have had such things in Virginia, ostensibly to look for drunk drivers....but some complain that it is tantamount to unreasonable search...in that you are presenting yourself and your credentials without any suspicion of wrongdoing. As a result they are now rarely encountered. That said, in my county when they used to do it, they would set the road block up where you could loop around them on a side street if you did not want to stop. You of course had to be local to know that the turn ahead did in fact just loop around!

I'm an abstainer but still think random vehicle stops are unconstitutional.
