I buttomed up the install on my 2008 R3T of the GIPro ATRE & v4 SpeedoHealer....I threw a quick spitshine on the black parts and rode out to the canyon. I won't bore you the details but it would have taken a big crowbar to wipe the smile off my face. This is the most amazing "Big" bike I've ever riden. My last 15k miles have been on my 08 Hayabusa so I know fast....This Rocket has a totally unique combination of acceleration, speed, and just pure power with smooth delivery.......it's hard to park it....

I got the Rocket so I could travel with friends, kick my feet up and just cruise while haulin' some luggage. Boy am I happy with my pick :D ! ! !

I can certainly understand why Triumph reduced the power, the danger factor for an inexperienced rider would be very high without it. But there should be a way for the dealer to "turn it off" after the owner has gained experience. What a selling point that would make ... "so powerful you have to show us your ready to handle it". There should be an easy little upgrade you can buy and plug in that says Triumph on it.
Too bad, bikers in the US would eat something like that up ... all the talk would be like free advertising.
oh well ... at least the GiPro isn't too **** expensive or hard to install. It sure turns it into a different bike though don't it?
The "G" in the name must stand for "Grin", 'cause it sure made me smile too on the 1st ride after putting it on. In my case it came after the initial shock and the "Oh****" look on my face.

Geez Hellfire, Triumph should snap you up as their marketing head. What a great selling strategy.

How about some ideas for world leaders on selling carbon emission taxes ???? They sure can't do it themselves :D

I like the idea . get better we make it faster. It's like a Yamaha pw80. It got a washer in the exhaust to restrict the power. when there ready to go fast you take it out.

here this triumph? some of us are ready to handle the power. er er er er more power.:D take out are restrictive donut

I would never buy another Touring bike. My Harley Ultra Electra-glide goes on the market this spring! :p

**** you guys all this talk about how much power these bikes have **** it its winter here in wisconsin i just bought a 08 r3 classic with all the toys . and the bike is still at the dealer 2 hours away and too much salt on the roads stop it no more talking about how great of a ride this is going to be :(
