Forgive me fellow Rocketeers, for I have sinned. During an unexplained brainfart moment I sold my beloved 2005 RIII Classic and bought a 2018 Indian Scout. I tried to like it - I really did - but a little voice kept on whispering in my ear " but is isn't a Rocket is it?"
I foolishly ignored the voice of reason for a few months and kept telling myself that it wasn't really a sin, until today I finally saw the true light shining through the darkness. It was love at first sight .....

This wonderful black lady, simply known as Geetie showed me the true way and I just had to have her , so I put a deposit on her right then (the wife's gonna kill me!)
Please forgive my brief transgression and accept me back into the fold ..... pretty please? 😇

Hey Razman--I did something similar--I had a 2018 Roadster, then in late '21 bought a '22 Indian Chief, a bike that I think is absolutely gorgeous--then I took a ride on a '22 GT this April. I traded the Roadster and the Chief for the GT two days later. Loved my stone age Roadster, but the GT is the space age. Absolutely love it, and a lot more comfortable than the Chief. Wish I could have kept all three, but not enough space for everything, and my wife refuses to let me decorate the house with motorcycles. I think my mind and body are attuned to Triumphs--I've had five in the last 20 years, and every time I try something else, I wind up coming back.

Congrats. All you need to do now, is to plan out the man maths in away that gives the impression that the purchase was a no brainer........good luck !
Or tell the wife that your old bike didn't match her shoes and that you know "Black" goes with everything.

Say 10 Hail Mary's and leave 20 bucks under the stone by the fence post by the 'sharp bend' sign on the road out of town...

Stone age..... stone age????? I know many of us are dinosaurs but..... that hurts....

The first Standards and Classics helped people remove the fog from their lives.... progressing from stone age, through to bronze, then iron and then the Roadster age. We were enlightened... saved from posterity... fast, 3 cylinders, 2300ccs, a man's bike, har, har, har... :)

The Rocket 3 was simply the evolution of that model... it's just the icing many were waiting for... :)

Ha ha! Gregger, Roadster Age--that's it! We've reached Roadster age. And **** glad for it. A couple of years ago, a kid at the local Cycle Gear called my Roadster an "old man's" bike. I laughed, because I doubt he could have held the bike up with his scrawny little arms! And what old man's bike has over 140 horsepower?

So now I can tell my riding buddies that I'm riding in the Roadster Age, and they are just along for the ride!
