Is this for real?

FYI

Since I knew this was a scam site, I used bogus information to complete a sale.

Turns out, this is a ( @Ishrub knows them all too well) classic Chinese ripoff attempt, and the true target of the ripoff is your login credentials for PayPal.

I'm pretty sure -- and please note these people and their like probably have many thousands of copycat sites out there -- they are set up, to instantly intercept your credentials, then immediately (while you wait) go to PayPal and attempt to empty your account all the while showing you a successful transaction.

In my case, I exposed a flaw in their software, where my information would not compute, and the screen flashed multiple times as their bot attempted to log into PayPal, and finally came back to their fake PayPal login screen, I suppose hoping the victim would think they entered an incorrect password, and would try again.

They must hate that 'Happy Home' address! - Many years ago. 1st and ONLY dishonest transaction in 2000+ eBay purchases. I have never been scammed except about $600 on an private sale archery bow and surface ship freight from the USA.

99.9 % of folks are honest so I never worry about it.

That's awesome, Paul, that you have the skills to do that. Instagram was swamped with them a few weeks ago, I commented scam and reported them, then they all suddenly disappeared. Same with the Craigslist $800 Harleys and for some reason, Daytona 675s. It became a mission for me, I'd go all the way down the East coast cities flagging them, since this year they seem gone.

Typical Instagram scam listing
