Is this compatiable cable with Tune ECU

I am having trouble getting my tune ECU working. My old cable was mistreated , so I replaced it with one from Amazon.com. still could not get it to work so found and loaded the 2.5 version. now the red light blinks and says to check cable connection & turn off key. do I need to reload the driver, if so where are they located. . or is tis just the wrong cable?

Use this one:
USB Cable for Triumph Motorcycle TuneECU Program : Amazon.com : Automotive

Silver cable with blue end.
NOT blue cable as these tend to have a high failure rate.
