Is the Rocket III for me? Hi from Canada!

If we loved him (which we obviously didn't) .. we would let him go. If he comes back (which I f#ckin doubt) .. he really was meant to be here (which he wasn't ) .. you know what I mean ..hahahha

You guys……seriously, fancy running a fella off simply for asking an innocent question. He obviously wants to upgrade but needs to reassured and was basically asking us to give him some acceptance and reassurance. I think many grown men would respect a fella for asking people he admires and looks up to if joining them in a common interest is the right thing for him..

Instead of accommodating him and reassuring him, you nasty folk basically came out and told him he’s a …..

…..

….****wit soft cock dumb ****in cunnofabloke that should *** the ***off and stick to talking to stpid mother****ers like himself and whilst his at it, go spit on his bird dioreeah colouered jappa piece of plastic ****t and royally ram it up his sloppy ****** festering-arse.

Now, I don’t know how to tell ya this but sometimes the truth can be hurtfull…next time just tell any dumb****s that we really ride appas and stick a triumph badge on our bikes to trick people…this site is just a front to hide outr membership at the jappa****box.com site where they should come and talk to us.

You impolite people.

oh and incase you didn't realise, i refuse to post on this thread as i don't want to keep it alive for funs sake

Well - that clears that up!

Guessing Ponters has had a big, busy day ..far better he 'unwind' here than out there ..trust me ... Ponters turn your phone off and go get some shut-eye ok mate

Hey Guys. I am back.

I just wanted to say that I apologize for the mixup we had. First off, I probably came around in the wrong way, and I should have come across a little differently. I'll be the first to say I apologize for the rude behaviour, I was having a very bad week at work, was a little emotional, I got set off pretty easy... I do love my Suzuki, but I'm ready for something a little different, something a little higher quality.. The Rocket III looks like the only bike I can think of that is awesome enough for me to consider after enjoying my Boulevard for 5 years.

Once again, I apologize for the ruffled feathers, I hope we can be friends and share lots of information together. I did not mean to get upset with you guys, but it seems there are some good folk here for sure.

Now that thats out the way, I have my eye on a 2012 Rocket III Roadster for sale here in the GTA and I will probably be going over to the dealership on the weekend to have a look at it. They came back to me for a 3rd time with an offer for my current bike which is very fair, I would only have to pay about 5K + taxes to get onto the Rocket. We don't have many for sale here at all, I dont think I have ever in my life seen one on the road, which means its unique and thats the kind of thing Im looking for. The Rocket at the dealership I am going to see is a 2012 with only 511KM on it (They consider that used, I consider that just broken in!) They want $13K for it.

One of the things I'm most interested in right now if I consider the rocket would be a quick release back rest system... I have something like that right now but I am not sure if it will fit on the Rocket.. I'll have to do some measurements.

BTW I can't believe this post generated so many responses, i've never seen that happen before!

Glad to see you came back here it is in some ways the better of the sites, there's a few larrikins here but you will get used to them.... mostly harmless but you will generally get honest opinions, any way good to see you are made of the right stuff a realised this is the right place to be you will no doubt have noticed there are a few of us that go to both sites

I didn't have a chance to welcome you the first time around, so "Welcome from Sunny South Florida" (will be riding today - sunny and 75 degrees).

I think the price they're asking is a bit high - it's a 2012, not a 2013 leftover, so there's about to be 2 years depreciation on it. Of course, if it's loaded with accessories, then that has to be taken into account. I think you should be able to save between 350 - 700 dollars.

And 511 km is just 1/2 way to first service, so make sure they include the first service in the price.

Thanks Hanso. It was a very rough week for me, I should of just blew it off but instead I got upset which was wrong. Anyway thats behind us now, Im starting to get more and more excited every day at thinking of the possibility of owning a Rocket. Theres still a lot I need to learn so I get a better idea of what I want out of it, but for sure a couple of cosmetic changes at first, I'm not too concerned about adding more power (As if it didn't have enough already). I definitely like the fly shield over the headlights and a chin scoop, I think it adds quite a bit of character to an already charasmatic bike. I can't wait to test ride one, but it will have to be a while (As we're already sitting at -10c and snow everywhere ****it)

Glad you told me that... I will definitely try to get them to come down on price, its the middle of winter here so they aren't going to be moving bikes much around this time, I am sure they will do what they can to get the bike out of the store... They did make a pretty generous offer on my current ride (Equivalent of $9000 after taxes) so I may ask them for credit on accessories or service as you say... Will see this Saturday!
